If eLABInventory is used by multiple labs in your organisation, there is also the option to make equipment available in multiple labs. Note that this option can only be activated by the organisation key user in the Organisation Admin Panel. If multiple labs in your organisation use eLABInventory, please contact us for more information about the organisation admin module. When equipment in your organisation is shared with your lab, it will automatically be visible in the Inventory Browser in the equipment section.
By sharing equipment within your organisation, you can make it available for multiple labs to see the equipment bookings in the planner and to book the device for your experiment.
You further manage shared equipment via Configuration – Equipment. Here you can perform standard actions like booking a device for an experiment as well as removing shared equipment from your lab inventory.
